93bometa.html - This file provides documentation for file 93BOMETA.DAT, an ASCII file that contains final data for epilithic respiration, photosynthesis, and chlorophyll a from benthic metabolism measurements. Samples were collected from pools and riffles within the control and enriched zones of the Kuparuk River and from similar zones of Oksrukuyik Creek. Phosphorus (P) was the only nutrient added to the Kuparuk River this year but nitrogen (N) and P were added at one site to Oksrukuyik Creek. Fertilization began on 25 June this year. 1993 was the third year for P fertilization of Oksrukuyik Creek. Benthic metabolism and chlorophyll a measurements in this stream in 1990 may be used to compare the unfertilized "fertilized" zone and the control zone.
